After explaining the titles used to describe Jesus, this article focuses on the meaning of "Christ." It shows that Christ was anointed to a threefold office of priest, prophet, and king. At the same time the believer, as a Christian, is united to Christ; hence, believers are also anointed as priests, prophets, and kings.
