Objections to God's Sovereignty Answered

Objections to God's Sovereignty Answered

  • Semi-Technical
  • Arthur W. Pink

The article addresses a number of objections raised against the sovereignty of God. One such objection is that God loves everybody. In reply, the author refers to a number of verses that set out to disprove this. These include Proverbs 8:17, John 3:16, Romans 9:13, and 2 Peter 2:5. The author also cites the objection that man can resist the will or operation of the Holy Spirit, to which he responds by saying that what men resisted were the external operations through God's servants. Finally, the author also discusses the objection that the gospel is offered to everyone, and therefore should be for everyone.
