The Gospel according to Bart: A Review Article of "Misquoting Jesus" by Bart Ehrman

  • Semi-Technical
  • Daniel B. Wallace

This article reviews Bart Ehrman's book on textual criticism, Misquoting Jesus. It introduces the field of textual criticism and Ehrman as a scholar. The article responds to Ehrman's views on passages often viewed as inauthentic by many New Testament scholars: Matthew 24:36, Mark 1:41, Mark 16:9-20, John 7:53-John 11, Hebrews 2:8-9, and 1 John 5:7-8.
