Genesis 1:5 - "One" as an Ordinary Number and the Meaning

The Hebrew cardinal number “one” can also be used in place of the ordinal number “first." In Genesis 1:5 the cardinal number for the first day of creation is used. The other days are numbered using ordinal numbers. This article considers which is the correct understanding of Genesis 1:5.
