This chapter considers a common problem: the fear of others’ opinion of you. People want to be noticed, and want other people's respect. People have a desire for acceptance as well as a fear of rejection. This chapter provides examples of these things as part of a discussion on what constitutes an unhealthy desire for acceptance.
