The church can repeat the sin of Jeroboam when it dethrones the King of the church from His rule of His church. This can be done by using the church for a political agenda or movement.

The special gifts of the Holy Spirit must be understood in line with salvation history. God gave these gifts to authenticate the ministry of the apostles, not as signs of regeneration.
