The Christian's attitude towards material possessions is guided by the call to stewardship, a love for God and neighbour, and the understanding of how sin has affected our relationship with God and others. Our attitude toward possessions should be directed by a life of pilgrimage, thankfulness, and sharing, with an eye to the coming of the Lord.
