Looking at the biblical texts inscribed on the Martyrs’ Monument, this article shows that the encouragement to remain faithful unto death is still relevant for the church today, since it continues to face persecution. The martyrs serve as a encouragement to hold fast to the promise of Christ that He will dress us in white robes of salvation.
