The author shows in this essay that there is no theological reason to abandon natural theology. He believes that theistic arguments could be used profitably in Christian apologetics and evangelistic endeavors. He examines Blaise Pascal's understanding of the noetic effects of sin in relationship to theistic arguments, and considers whether any of the three classical kinds of arguments for God's existence would lead to a pride hostile to the Christian message.
