Prophesy and the Israeli State

Prophesy and the Israeli State

  • Semi-Technical
  • John Wilmot

Do the Old Testament prophecies of Israel point to a fulfilment that takes place after the New Testament? The author looks at pre-exilic prophecies of Israel and contends that none of them is still outstanding, at least as far as the nation of Israel and the land is concerned. The author also argues his case from the facts of history that are unfolding to this day: the wars that have taken place over the land of Israel, the treaties to end wars and divisions, the people groups that are involved, and even the economic status of the nation of Israel today.
