One of Two Views of Judaism: Paul in Acts 28 and Romans 11 on Jewish Unbelief

One of Two Views of Judaism: Paul in Acts 28 and Romans 11 on Jewish Unbelief

  • Kenneth D. Litwak

Does the apostle Paul in Romans 11 differ from how he is represented in Acts 28:16-31 on how he views the response of Jews to the gospel? This essay argues that the differences do not contradict each other but ratherĀ are complementary. In both cases Paul sees a mixed response among Jews, the developing of a faithful remnant, and the matter of "provoking to jealousy" as a critical element.
