This article is an exposition of Ecclesiastes 4:13-16. In this text, Solomon points to the vanity of putting trust in earthly rulers. Placing one's hope in them will result in vexation of spirit. Hope should only be placed in the true King - Jesus Christ. His kingship will give joy to the soul.
