The purpose of this article is to discover biblical solutions to common causes of drug abuse. Rather than examining and attacking the symptoms of drug abuse, this study endeavours to arrive at biblical solutions to the initial causes of the abuse. There are several major reasons for people using drugs in an abusive fashion: euphoria, peer pressure, boredom, life-jolting experiences and pressures, and learned behaviour.
