This article identifies and assesses five aspects of contemporary Christianity and church life that hinder church attendance. It speaks of different kinds of Christians, like the "pew-monia," "recliner," and self-centred Christian. The author also shares ways of curing the problems, by giving thought to Paul's counsel in 1 Corinthians 8:1-11:1.
