Galatians 2:16, 3:1-6 - Pistis Christou in Galatians 2:16: Clarification from 3:1-6

Grammar alone is inadequate to determine the meaning of "pistis Christou" in the letter to the Galatians. Does it mean "faith in Christ" or "faithfulness of Christ"? This article wants to offer an exegesis of Galatians 3:1-6 to better understand its meaningĀ in Galatians 2:16. The conclusion of the author is that it refers to the faith of men in Christ.

Do not be too quick to condemn the man who no longer believes in God: for it is perhaps your own coldness and avarice and mediocrity and materialism and selfishness that have chilled his faith. T. Merton
