The Nature of the Ministry According to Paul

The Nature of the Ministry According to Paul

  • Semi-Technical
  • Ronald Y. K. Fung

What is the nature of the ministry of the church in relation to the nature of the church? In this paper, the author wants to present an accurate picture of the nature of the Christian ministry as Paul conceived of it. Three passages are considered where Paul's ideas about the ministry are clearly presented: 1 Corinthians 3-1 Corinthians 4, 2 Corinthians 3:1-2 Corinthians 6:10, and Ephesians 4:7-16.

A man can no more diminish God’s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word “darkness” on the walls of his cell. C. S. Lewis
