The Rapture

The Rapture

  • Technical
  • Everett I. Carver

What will be the nature of the return of Christ and what will the rapture be like? This article addresses these questions, which are concerned with eschatology. Various views expressed in this article include those of dispensationalists, the pretribulation rapturists, the post-tribulation rapturists, postmillennialists, and amillennialists. These views are mostly concerned with the time of the second coming of Christ and the resurrection of the dead.

To believe means that man must not rely on what he is, or can be, or shall be, nor on what he does or can do, nor on what he feels or does not feel, but to rely solely on what Christ has done, is doing and shall yet do. Charles H. Spurgeon
